Phenomenal Employee. This employee totally deserves recognition from management. Yesterday a gal was working the desk. We were at the El Cortez for a wedding when my mother-in-law lost the backing to her diamond earing which was a family gift. We looked around on phones for places to get replacement. In desperation my mother-in-law went around the corner to the El Cortez Gourmet Mart and a young sweet Spanish gal immediately offered help. The employee took her own earring off and offered it as possible match. However, the backing didn't fit. The employee said no worries I will find something. The employee then dug into her purse and found a backing option that was close to fitting. The employee went into a back room and said no worries and came out with a backing that fit the earring. I bought stuff just because she was so helpful. My mother-in-law offered her money and she refused. The world needs more kind people like that employee. Wish I knew her name. She clearly understands customer service.
