If you are looking for a quick bite or snack at BS, this is the place. It's quick and simple that allows you to get back out on the hill without having to wait in line at more of the full serve type eateries at BS

They offer up snacks, small bites (chili dogs etc) and drinks and misc other food. Dine N' Dash of sorts but the people working here are nice and keep the line along

If you want more of a sit down place with table and chairs, cafeteria etc...this is not your place (head back upstairs for that)

Glad it’s there or otherwise you’re stuck with a $30 burger all the time. Pricey but appropriate for where you are. Quite a few and tasty quick lunch/dinner options besides regular groceries. All some pertinent ski stuff like hand warmers

TLDR; the grocers DEMAND TIPS, and they will guilt you if don’t tip them.

First of all, I walked up to a register and the clerk slammed a “register closed” sign in my face and walked away. He could’ve spoken to me but didn’t. So I go to the next register and after all of my stuff is scanned, I’m greeted with a tip screen. What service did you provide? I had to carry my own groceries, no one will speak to me that’s stupid. So I click on the no tip option. Then the guy asked me, “oh you’re gonna do cash?” ?!?!?!?!

Maybe it’s because I’m not from here, but I find this unacceptable for a grocery store. I didn’t tip them because no employee in that store needs me to pay them. Management, please retrain or FIRE them. Also please have a dress code so I don’t look at a man’s muffin top demanding I tip them. I will never go back to this sleazy establishment.

Love the Hungry Moose! I do all my shopping at the Town Center or Mountain location when I am in town. It is so convenient and they have such a wide variety of products.

Good staff with fair prices for the Big Sky area. Great alternative to driving down the mountain for basic goods and beer/wine. Breakfast and lunch selections are tasty and of better quality than most small convenient stores.

I worked here. Guys, buy the grab and go, burrito or Biscuits sand. ( by 9 it's wiped out). Check out the menu and order ahead. Staff- fantastic.

Had what I wanted. Friendly associates. AA batteries were expensive, but they had them. Best prices at Big Sky for beer. Plus, good beer selection, local, specialty, and the standards.

This is the closest thing to a “grocery store” If you’re staying in Mountain Village. You can walk to it so it’s convenient, but it’s definitely expensive like everything else in Big Sky. Not a huge selection / variety of items So if you’re looking for something specific you probably won’t find it here. It’s got the basics though like eggs, milk, protein bars, wine, fruits & veggies. And other essentials like macaroni and cheese and ice cream!
