So beautifully decorated for Christmas! Got the first tour of the season. Loved the historic photos of Lincoln, the dining room and the beautiful winding staircase and exterior ! No admission fee. Register online

Great FREE tour! Small group and knowledgable guide. Beautiful inside and I loved the real Mary Todd Lincoln piece that her son donated to the mansion.

Actually attended a Scottish Highland game across from the mansion in an open park like area. It was a great time, impressive athletes, and gave us chance to walk around downtown exploring some businesses and attending a farmer's market. Hope they keep that area open for other events and a return of those games.

It was such a great tour. The gentlemen volunteer gave us such wonderful information. I really enjoyed it, but I don't think my children did. They were kind of bored. But I love this type of stuff. If you are interested in history this is for sure a must see! FYI! You have to reserve stops online and they are only open for 2 tours on Saturday and Sunday only. Plan ahead.
