Today was my first time going to Wayne’s. I was making dinner and ran out of a few things (limes, vegetable oil, hot sauce, and tortilla chips) so I decided to try Wayne’s instead of driving 15 minutes to another grocery store.

This store is small but has most everything you would need (but not all the brands you might look for). It’s clean and the aisles are wide enough for carts to pass each other.

The prices seem a little higher than Walmart or Target but probably cheaper than Harris Teeter.

They are supposed to accept Apple Pay but it didn’t work for me—luckily I had a credit card with me.

Let me tell you about Wayne's Super Market. It is. It has been. Hopefully will always be on point right off of 24th. You need your coconut mango drink, Wayne's got you. You need funyuns, Wayne's got you. You need Methol Kools? Wayne has you. It is old school cool. Charlotte landmark grocery. Go now while Wayne's is still here.

I have been getting rave reviews about some items that I have been picking up here. Please don't change. My family lives out near Pineville and make the trip here to find items they can't find at the larger, fancier grocery stores. Love this place...

Wayne's is definitely a landmark supermarket for Charlotte NC. I've coming to this store for over two years now and I can't express how much money I've saved grocery shopping. Not only grocery shopping but also Utilizing their check cashing services has been A great help for me. This is definitely a go to store and a landmark for the Charlotte Metro area.

I will say Wayne’s is convenient if you are needing something simple like salt or milk or eggs. And in the past I have had okay experiences here. However, we bought a block of Neese’s sausage without checking the expiration date (because surely they take things off the shelf once they’ve expired…)This morning to our surprise the sausage was covered in mold. Perhaps we should have checked the expiration, which was dated from a week ago. But I would at least expect the shelves to be stocked with fresh meat. Disappointed, please do better

The prices are way too high for some items a bottle of OJ 7 dollars that's typically 3$ at food lion.. this definitely needs to be reported for price gouging

I love this store. It takes me back .The energy is reminiscent of what I felt as a kid, at the grocery store, with my parents. This place has a rich soul. The meats are always so fresh and pristine. The attention small establishments provide, that big franchises may slip on sometimes. I love how certain snacks are still available here too. Long forgotten by big box stores. I look forward to my visits.
